| HISTORICAL FACTS ABOUT LITTLE VENICE |
|
Little Venice is an area just north of Paddington and is where the Regent’s canal meets with Grand Junction Canal, the two canals were linked and then opened in 1820. The canal was named after Prince Regent later King George IV. The total cost of the project was £772,000.
The name Little Venice was not used until after the Second World War.
